Another "publishers are parasites." As Cat Valente said, "No one goes around suggesting that everyone should become their own autonomous cheesemakers and cheering the death of the cheese industry. Why? Because that would result in a lot of shitty cheese."
Lowering the cost of publishing has allowed more good work, as well as bad work, to be published. Why shouldn't the whole world be able to read Supergee's thoughts?
I think there's room for both.
