A mystery that’s “haunted” me for nearly forty years has with this reissue been solved! Back in high school, I stumbled onto the separate edition of The Tip Top Hat, and the suburban sex scene had very much stuck in my adolescent mind… but it, among many other passages, was cut when all three Schrödinger’s Cat books were published together. And now I’ve discovered that it first appeared in The Sex Magicians!
Also: Simeon Luna? Ha, ha. Good one.
