Straight Outta Dublin, Eric Wagner's new book on James Joyce's influence on Robert Anton Wilson, is coming out April 23, according to a post from Eric on Facebook. The book also has a substantial essay from R. Michael Johnson. The arresting cover is from Rasa.

Thank you for this post, for all your help with the book, and for all your support over the years. I think about Bucky's notion that our four biggest challenges seem fear, ignorance, greed, and zoning laws. I don't know much about zoning laws, but the first three seem huge challenges in the USA right now.

A Dublin where they still allowed smoking in the pubs!! Those days are long gone. I think that was the beginning of the decline of the pub as hub of social life in Ireland. High beer prices and Covid accelerated that trend. Anyhow, look forward to reading this book.
